From its opening in 1998 on the Seminyak beach, the Rip Curl School of Surf quickly gained the reputation as the finest surf school in Bali, twenty five years later and having taught more than 500,000 visitors to surf, kite, foil and wing surf . The Rip Curl school of Surf, Bali now operates from two locations enabling the Rip Curl School of Surf students to have the best conditions wet or dry season. The Rip Curl School of Surf programs are internationally renowned for their thoroughness; essential transfer of knowledge, made easy through professional program study books, as well as simple to follow techniques taught by our certified foreign and local instructors. INSTRUCTOR
LEGIAN SCHOOL
Our Legian location was selected in 1998 for the perfect learning condition; sandy bottom and small, continuously perfect learner waves. We operate directly on the beach under the Rip Curl School of Surf umbrellas adjacent to the public showers and bathrooms. A receptionist and instructors are standing by daily. Surf courses and Little Ripper programs are available; complete student services are provided, including rash guards, leggings, helmets, drinking water, towels and sunscreen.
SANUR SCHOOL
Our east coast club is at the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel Bali, the perfect spot to access the calm lagoons and coral reefs peppered along this part of Bali’s coastline. Kite surfing, wing surfing, SUP, surfing and foiling courses are held at our Sanur club throughout the year. Sanur is the home of our Coral nursery and the Mangrove Mob project; SUPs, sea kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available for rentals to visit the reefs, nursery and mangrove forest. Equipment rentals, boat taxi services, Rip Curl merchandise and membership programs are also available all year round.
